
You should be able to run software update and find out if you can use this update. Running the update is simple and explained within the download.

when will they fix the problems with the older intel imacs. i can't run windows or mac games because the video freezes and it's quite annoying.
Have you updated to 10.5.7, all firmware updates, and tried to diagnose and fix issues with Tech Tool and Diskwarrior?AppleCare still hasn't run out on 3yr plans even from original Intel iMacs.
Try the ati software updates as well .
Windows is a function of bootcamp ... Have you tried bootcamp and a NEW and legal install?
