IBM has no chance. These non-compete agreements are standard, but useless. They amount to indentured servitude, and it's wishful thinking on any company's part to think they can be enforced.
IBM is the new Apple of the 90's ...They are now the underdog with lots of awesome intellectual property trying to protect their way into profit.While IBM remains profitable - I think it was a matter of time before they sued Apple as a front for revenge from the G5 processor debacle.
