A recent court filing accuses MediaSentry, the RIAA's hired investigative gun, of operating as a private investigator without a license. As a result, all evidence collected by the company could be thrown out. Without that evidence, there is no case. This is a VERY clever angle for those being sued to have taken.
I have always thought that the RIAA could easily be sued for invasion of privacy.
I say an invasion of privacy because they come right out of the gate with NO law enforcement , just accusations and lawsuits.

Seems a sensible angle to take, a lot of the rubbish the RIAA have been getting up to in these things have been utterly ludicrous.
