Apple Docking Patent Works Great with Ultra-Slim MacBook PIC

* Photo Courtesy US Patent Office

"This Apple docking station patent shows a screen base in which you can slide in a MacBook through its side. While this would be difficult to do with current MacBooks, it fits perfectly with the idea of the ultra-light, ultra-slim MacBook that allegedly will be presented at MacWorld." I just posted my 2 cents on this idea but wasn't aware of Gizmodo's mock up picks. Thanks for pointing it out.

I think the idea is really exiting and I hope it is true and one of the January's announcements at MacWorld.

I was just talking to a Windows person wanting (like so many others) to switch, but he was torn between the MacBook that he needed and the Mac that he wanted!

What a great idea. An all-in-one that becomes even more "all-in-oner".
