So, where are the upgrade manufacturers with Intel?
It's a simple question with a simple answer:
Where are the Mac Processor Upgrade manufacturers with Intel processor upgrades?

Huh? If your Intel based Mac has a CPU socket and you want an upgrade, you just plug in a faster processor. This is assuming Intel wants to allow this by making faster processors in the right socket format and the Apple motherboard does not need some special EFI update. upgrade an Intel mini
Asus made an adapter to run mobile processors in standard P4 motherboards. Is this more along the lines of what you were thinking of? 479 to 478 adapter
Exactly ... there ARE upgrades out there and a macMini can accept a 2Ghz Core Duo in the Core Solo configuration ... I know you can buy them, I'm just wondering why the upgraders aren't offering them as "official"
