I like the design, but won't the cables get in the way of the keyboard when you plug them in? I think the connections should be on the side.
Well, I don't think this is necessarily to have a "permanent USB hub" - I think it's more for temporary connections which I do have a few. It would be nice to have a separate hub on the back or side though.
